Chemical peels are a treatment aimed at improving the appearance and texture of the skin by applying a chemical solution to exfoliate the outermost layers of the skin. These solutions, which can vary in strength and composition, work by causing the top layers of the skin to peel off, revealing smoother, younger looking skin. The intensity of the peels can be tailored to each individuals needs and are usually done in a series. The recovery time varies depending on the strength of the peel. It can be anywhere from 3-10 days of recovery. During this time the skin will be red and peeling. The stronger the peel the longer the healing process, but it will have a more dramatic result once healed.

A Dermaplane is a non-invasive treatment which uses a scalpel to remove the top layer of dead skin cells from the outermost layer of skin. While doing this process it will also remove the lanugo, or baby fine hair from the skin. This will leave the skin soft and dewy. This can help prevent wrinkles, and even out skin texture. This service is not recommended for anyone with acne prone skin, and is also not recommended if your main goal is to remove your hair as the hair can grow back quickly. However this is a great service for most skin types and has little to no downtime revealing a smoother, more luminous complexion. This is a great option for a special occasion like before a wedding!
